European Year-in-Review: CMBS Market Bounces Back In 2021 Following a turbulent 2020, the structured finance market as a whole bounced back in 2021. This was true also for the European CMBS market. To understand the market activity throughout 2021, Trepp reviewed some of the key developments from the past year, noting in particular where market activity is the most concentrated based on the securitized loan balance. We saw a total of 16 CMBS deals originated in the European market in 2021.

The word "data" is a singular term representing a collection of things, therefore it is right to say "data >is< collected" and I am never going to get used to people saying "data are collected"
