Approximately one in four women in Canada are unaware of the benefits of taking folic acid before and during pregnancy to prevent certain birth defects—a percentage that has not improved in more than a decade. In a recent paper published in the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Canada, researchers at Sinai Health and the University of Toronto analyzed data from the Canadian Community Health Survey conducted by Statistics Canada in 2017 and 2018.

In the Research Article “Spatially resolved single-cell translatomics at molecular resolution,” one of the ribosome profiling datasets (Lin et al.) was mislabeled: It was collected from human MCF10 cells, not HeLa cells. Therefore, the authors performed the analysis again with the use of a HeLa dataset (Darnell et al.). The results showed improved correlation (r increased from 0.33 to 0.53), strengthening the original conclusion. Fig.
