JACKSON, Mich. (WILX/Gray News) - A 46-year-old student support specialist in Michigan died in an accident while on the job, according to officials. The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration said the unnamed 46-year-old worker was killed after a metal file cabinet fell on top of them. Emergency services were called, and the employee was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy indicated the worker’s cause of death was traumatic (compression) chest asphyxia from the file cabinet.
