It is hard to say that there are any real positives going for the Nashville Predators right now, as they just had one of their worst seasons ever and still lack a true direction. That being said, one thing that is a legitimate plus is that they have one of the best draft situations they have had in years. They have the 5th overall pick, picking in the top 5 for the first time since 2013, and they own two other first rounders for a total of three.

The Tennessee Titans begin the 2025 season starting over yet again at the quarterback position, although this time might be the most exciting development they have had in years. They drafted Cam Ward with the first overall pick, making him the first No. 1 selection at QB in franchise history. Even though Ward didn't garner as much pre-draft hype as most No. 1 overall QBs, it was evident the Titans were 100% sold on him and getting the most out of his upside.

The Nashville Predators made the decision everyone was waiting for them to make to begin the offseason, and it revolves around head coach Andrew Brunette. Despite the terrible 2024-25 season and the vitriol around him, Barry Trotz has decided to bring back Brunette to at least start his third season behind the team's bench. Looking at the Predators as a whole in 2024-25 and what Brunette had done beforehand, it is understandable why Trotz is giving his guy another chance.

The Nashville Predators season has been over for over two weeks now, even though it is still too early for them to be in full-fledged "offseason mode," if you will. Fans still have not gotten the answers they are dying to get, not even whether or not Andrew Brunette will return as head coach, although we will surely get more clarity in Barry Trotz's end of season press conference this coming week. Clearly though, the Predators will have to make some alterations to how they operated in 2024-25.

The wide receiver position has been a sore subject for the Tennessee Titans and their fans for years, even before the infamous AJ Brown trade was made in April 2022. The receiver room has consistently struggled since that fateful day. Having landed four wide receivers during the week of the 2025 NFL Draft, it's too early to say the Titans have gotten better at wideout, but at least for the moment, it has gotten deeper.
