Ho, June 7, GNA-Dr Sodzi Sodzi-Tettey, Acting Chief Executive Officer, National Vaccine Institute (NVI), has disclosed that the NVI is making giant strides in its quest to achieve vaccine self-sufficiency in the country's health delivery. He said the NVI was mandated to coordinate and supervise research, develop and manufacture vaccines and sera, and for related matters nationally, according to its ACT 1097 2023, in response to the vaccine nationalism that characterised the Covid-19 pandemic.

The paper titled, "Current State and Future Directions of Interventions for Neglected Tropical Diseases" was published in Nature Human Behaviour on June 4, 2025.

Ho, May 30, GNA-The National House of Chiefs has expunged from its register the name of Torgbui Korbadzi III, from the National Register of Chiefs as 'Dufia' (Chief) of Avenor Gefia. The Standing Committee Meeting of the National House unanimously resolved to have the name deleted from its register as Dufia of Avenor Gefia in the Avenor Traditional Area, in the Volta region.
