    Alrighty, let’s talk movies; more importantly, let’s talk about Korean Thrillers. I’m not going to lie here; this genre is something I either love or absolutely can’t stand. I think there are more bad examples than good ones. Thankfully, ever since I started delving more into Korean Cinema and TV, I’ve discovered a ton of absolutely fantastic ones. Narrowing them down to these top three was quite a challenge.

    Every great action film needs three things: A main character who’s badass yet relatable, enough action set pieces to get that adrenaline pumping, and most importantly, bee puns. That might be a tad specific, but come on, what film wouldn’t be ten times better if the main character said random bee puns throughout its runtime? We don’t have to wonder anymore because The Beekeeper shows us that even a decent action blockbuster can become something amazing with a few puns thrown into the mix.

    When I think of a Holiday film, many things come to mind. Comedy, love, family, excitement, friends, music, a bit of magic…and the Muppets! I, like a lot of GenX, am a sucker for nostalgia, especially around the Holidays. Every year, there are new Holiday films, and Hallmark has a whole channel for them.
