Rhandie Weaver breathes life into a beloved art form. By Meg RobinsonRhandie Weaver is a Birmingham-based stained  glass connoisseur. She has been perfecting her craft for over 25 years. Weaver learned the art from a community college class. She continues the legacy of stained glass by continuing to teach it, just as others taught her. “Everything has to be taught, either by self, education, or someone else,” she said.

A new Samford club hosts its first event on campusThe Samford Fishing Club reeled in its first members at their debut event of the year. Students were invited on the quad to complete a series of games to win prizes such as fishing bobber stress balls, goodie bags and even a brand-new fishing rod.  The winner of the event, sophomore Becca Chaney, was pleasantly surprised by her come-from-behind victory. “I was holding my breath and sent a little prayer upstairs,” Chaney said.
