Montevallo’s boys soccer team defeated Sipsey Valley 15-0 on Monday, April 14 at Theron Fisher Stadium after the girls won 10-0.

The Warriors improved to 5-0 in area play with a 10-0 victory in six innings against the Hillcrest Patriots of Tuscaloosa on Tuesday, April 15 at Thompson High School.

Now, Helena stands alone atop Class 6A, Area 7 with a chance to finish off the regular season area title on Thursday night. Helena defeated Chelsea 6-5 on Tuesday, April 15 at Helena High School after surviving a three-run rally by the Hornets in the top of the seventh.
