BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting that took place near a church earlier this month, according to Boynton Beach Police. Rodney Lorenzo Askins has been charged with first-degree murder with a firearm. The shooting occurred at about 1:45 p.m. on November 15 near the intersection of Northeast Second Street and Northeast 12th Avenue.

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — A Kentucky teenager involved with a white supremacist group and a violent online group has been arrested in connection to a bomb threat made to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office in August, according to an arrest affidavit. On August 16, 18-year-old Curtis Hodge of Louisville, Kentucky, was said to have called PBSO Dispatch at 1:44 p.m. with the bomb threat.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — West Palm Beach Police is actively searching for someone in the Intracoastal Waterway. WPBPD spokesperson Mike Jachles says they have an active scene near the 5,000 block of N. Flagler Drive. OKEECHOBEE COUNTY, Fla. — Four students were arrested for written threats to harm or kill, according to the Okeechobee Sheriff's Office. A joint threat assessment was launched by the sheriff's office and school district after a "serious incident" occurred at Yearling Middle School on September 26. A chat group was discovered with various threats made to others leading to the arrest of the four girls.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — West Palm Beach Police are investigating a shooting at a shopping plaza where two people were injured. Police said the shooting occurred late Friday evening outside of a food market at the South Wind Shopping Plaza near 45th Street and North Military Trail. Two people were shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police are still searching for a suspect but said this is believed to be a targeted incident and that there is no risk to the public.
