Freddie Freeman, who drove in two of the Dodgers’ three runs on Saturday, drove in the only Dodger run on Sunday in a 1–0 win. The Dodgers had two hits against Mahle and left five runners on base against the right-hander. Their final hit against him was in the fourth with a double from Teoscar Hernández.

There Dodgers lost four of their first five games on the road trip entering Wednesday.
