An upper-level low is slowly moving through the Central Plains and Upper Midwest, bringing cloudy and cool weather to Central Iowa on Tuesday. Rainfall amounts will be very low. As of 5 AM, most spots have only received a few one-hundredths of an inch, with not much more to come despite showers in the forecast. Showers will continue to be very scattered in nature through the afternoon and overnight. They’ll transition more to the northeast corner of the state overnight and into Wednesday morning.
