    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Temperatures begin to warm up over the next few days with lots of sunshine. Today will be noticeably warmer than yesterday as highs climb to the mid 70s this afternoon. Plan on another day of bright sunny skies. Morning lows won’t be nearly as cold as they have been. We’ll start off in the mid to upper 50s Monday morning, then temperatures will soar into the 80s by the afternoon with a mix of sun and clouds.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Get ready for a nice quiet weekend filled with sunshine and a warm-up. Today will be another cooler day, like yesterday, with highs only reaching the low 60s, but it will a bright, sunny day. Another cold start tomorrow morning as lows fall to the 30s overnight.     NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - We’re only four months into the year and Middle Tennessee has already seen more tornadoes so far than the yearly average. Typically, Middle Tennessee gets 10 tornadoes a year, on average. So far for 2025, the National Weather Service has confirmed 11. That number could go up as they are still surveying damage reports from the outbreak between March 30th - April 5th. That could take several days.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Our First Alert Weather Day continues today as more heavy rain comes down across the Midstate, prompting flooding issues across many counties. A Flood Watch is in effect until 1:00 P.M. for most all of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. While we will have occasional breaks in the rain today, it won’t completely clear out until later this evening. With so much rain falling, on top of what we’ve already had, there could be numerous flooding issues today.

    NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - Our First Alert Weather Days continue through the weekend as another round of strong-to-severe storms will through with more flooding concerns. FLOODING THREAT:A Flood Watch is in effect for most of the area (excluding southeastern Middle Tennessee) until 7 am, Sunday. Multiple rounds of soaking downpours are expected off and on today and Sunday. The most persistent rain will fall over southern Kentucky, northwest Middle Tennessee, and West Tennessee.
