    AUSTIN, Texas — Wednesday the Austin Police Association and the City of Austin returned to the negotiation table. It was the first attempt at re-negotiating a labor agreement for city police officers after months of breakdown between the two organizations. After five hours of discussion, it was clear a major point of contention is still Proposition A, the city's police oversight ordinance voters passed last year.
