A cold front sweeps through the Miami Valley tonight bringing in below normal temperatures and clouds for Friday. After morning frost on Saturday, clouds mix with sunshine and temperatures rise into the 50s. TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy. Stray shower. Low 39FRIDAY: Generally cloudy and cool. There may be a tight temperature gradient across the Miami Valley on Thursday with 40s to the far north and low 60s far south. A cold front brings much colder air into the Miami Valley overnight. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low 20s by Tuesday morning. Frost is not expected due to gusty winds overnight. If you have new or sensitive plants, they will need to be covered up this evening before it drops below freezing. Sunshine returns on Tuesday despite the cold air. Normal high is around 60 degrees and highs on Tuesday will be in the low 40s. TONIGHT: Clearing skies, turning much colder with gusty winds.
