🗯️ Was talking to a friend about how I voted in the Eisner Awards for the first time. I’m now eligible as a comics creator! WUT. 🤪 I still can’t get over this. Sixteen-year-old me shrieks whenever I think about it.

Seeing a lot of internationals in my feed excited and inspired by Gavin Newsom and as a Californian, I just want to point out he’s less popular in-state (a similar thing with Trudeau to Canadians), for lotsa reasons incl. perception he spends too much time positioning to be prez.

⚽️ I’m not entirely convinced World Cup fans will be dissuaded from coming to the US when Qatar just hosted and Saudi Arabia is on the horizon. Football fever is a thing — civil liberties, human rights violations, and autocracies be damned.
