    TONAWANDA TOWN, N.Y. — Valentino Dixon served 27 years in prison for a murder he didn't commit, and in 2018 he was exonerated and freed. During his time behind bars in Attica, he focused on drawing. His works of art - mostly focusing on golf - have been purchased by big names such as Tiger Woods and the Obamas. Now they're for sale where they decorate the walls of the Buffalo Golf House in the Town of Tonawanda.

    LOCKPORT, N.Y. — Every breath she takes is a reminder of how far she's come. Briana DeWitt, a 28-year-old from Lockport, was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was just 18-months old. "Cystic fibrosis is a genetic and progressive illness that mainly affects the lungs and digestive system, but can also have effects in other parts of the body, the sinuses, the bones. It's really a systemic illness," she explained.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. — As Child Abuse Prevention Month wraps up at the end of April, sadly the problem itself isn't going isn't going away. Statistics show 1 in 10 children in Erie County will be abused by the time they turn 18. That is one of the highest rates of child abuse in the state. If it's suspected a child is abused, there is a place they can go to get all the help and resources they need in one place.

    BUFFALO, N.Y. — It has been more than five years since Dr. Alison Waclawek of North Buffalo passed away from a rare condition during childbirth. The foundation formed in her memory is holding a blood drive Saturday, Feb. 22 to keep her legacy alive. Waclawek, a pharmacist who lived in North Buffalo with her husband Justin, died from an Amniotic Fluid Embolism (AFE) during the birth of her first child in 2019. Her daughter Ada survived.
