Michael Zagaris/Getty Images The Chicago White Sox, ever a representation of organizational clarity and functionality, have once again graced us with a series of roster moves that one can only describe as... well, peak White Sox. First, let’s look at the tale of Tim Elko. For at least a month, the denizens of White Sox Twitter were clamoring for the promotion of the Triple-A slugger. Elko was absolutely mashing in Charlotte.

Geoff Stellfox/Getty Images It’s rubber match day at Rate Field! The Chicago White Sox (15-34) are looking to take the series against the Seattle Mariners (27-20) today after an exciting 1-0 win last night. After going 7-7 over their first 14 games in May, the South Siders hit a rough patch, losing five straight. However, last night’s nail-biter win against the M’s snapped that skid, providing a much-needed morale boost for a team that desperately needs it.

This is outstanding. While I’m tough on the White Sox I also like to be sure to give kudos when they do something well. Really glad to see this! Well done!

Every pitch, every swing, every game starts with mental preparation. https://t.co/echDw0kOpT
