2. Materials and Methods 2.1. Ethics StatementThe animal research proposal was approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Utilization Committee (IACUC) of the Animal Experimental Ethics Committee of Yangzhou University (Permit Number: SYXK (SU) IACUC 2012-0029). 2.2. Experimental DesignThe experiment was conducted using 61-day-old Xueshan chickens, with the experimental period lasting for 42 days.
