The City of Bee Cave’s former city manager is responding for the first time after being sued by the city. City officials claimed Clint Garza was heavily connected to the construction of a controversial warehouse. The city of Cedar Park said it is prepared to defend itself against a potential lawsuit. It has to do with a sexual assault involving one of its former police officers. The backstory: In May 2023, former Cedar Park police officer Keco Motton was accused of sexually assaulting a woman while on duty. According to the arrest affidavit, Motton was working as a patrol officer when he responded to a disturbance call where the victim was having issues with her husband. He spoke with the victim and left.

An elderly woman is recovering after being trapped under rubble when part of her home collapsed. She was right next door to the home that exploded about a week ago in Northwest Austin. Investigators said a substantial propane leak that ignited is what caused the eruption.
