The 40/29 Winner of the Week is Bentonville softball pitcher Darby Burnett. While Burnett didn't play most of last year due to a shoulder injury, she hasn't really missed a beat. The junior has struck out 175 batters while allowing just 60 hits in 105.1 innings of work. Her consistency in the circle has helped the Tigers go unbeaten in conference play (13-0) and 21-4 overall. They've also spent most of the season nationally ranked by Sports Illustrated.

Arkansas defensive lineman Landon Jackson was selected by the Buffalo Bills in round three of the 2025 NFL Draft. Jackson made his way to the Hill in 2022 after spending a season at LSU and quickly became a staple in the Hogs’ defense. He started all 12 games he played this past season and tallied 49 total tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.

A handful of former Arkansas Razorbacks hope to hear their names called in the 2025 NFL Draft. The annual event will be held from April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Fans can watch all three days of the draft on 40/29 on ABC. Round one kicks off Thursday at 7 p.m.Landon Jackson, Andrew Armstrong, Isaac TeSlaa, Eric Gregory and Ja’Quinden Jackson are Arkansas’ top prospects. According to NFL.com, Landon Jackson will be the first Razorback off the board in the second round.
