FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — The woman who died following a standoff that led to an officer-involved shooting at an Indiana hotel Wednesday has been identified, the Allen County Coroner’s Office announced. The coroner identified the woman as 66-year-old Patricia Hepworth of Fort Wayne. Her daughter Emily Schiewe is speaking out following her mother’s death. “She was very abusive, mentally and physically, and I mean, the worst of the abuse is what she went to jail for,” Schiewe said.
