CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A suspect is on the run and a 24-year-old man is in the hospital after an early morning hotel shooting along the 2800 block of SPID, per CCPD. Authorities arrived on scene and found the victim had been shot before medics transported him to a local hospital around 4:30 a.m. Police said the victim was able to call for help after the incident. Authorities did not disclose how many times he was shot, but did say he is expected to recover.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A 41-year-old woman is dead after a major traffic accident on Airline and Holly Road around 10:15 p.m. Monday. Corpus Christi Police Department officers said bystanders attempted to help the woman after she was hit by a vehicle as she attempted to cross the Airline side of the crosswalk in the west bound direction.
