1 Introduction Single-cell omics technologies, such as single-cell genome, epigenome, transcriptome, proteome, and metabolome, enable a deep depiction of the landscape of cellular molecular biological processes. They facilitate to describe the complete procedure of the “central dogma” and deconstructs the molecular interaction mechanism and targets from macromolecules (nucleic acids, proteins) to small molecules (metabolites), uncovering the nature of cellular heterogeneity.

1. IntroductionPrediabetes, which is characterized by impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) and/or impaired fasting glucose (IFG) [1], represents a high-risk state for the development of diabetes, with an annual conversion rate of 5–10% [2], indicating that patients may progress to diabetes in the near future. Despite the absence of diabetes, it is also associated with a higher risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, mental disorders, and mortality [3,4,5].

The Two Trees TTS-55 is a compact desktop diode laser powerful enough to cut 8mm thick lightweight plywood and engrave a wide variety of wood leather cardboard acrylic and more. Similar to conventional power tools you will need to purchase additional safety devices before operating the TTS-55. It does not have a fireproof base nor does it have any ventilation. The laser is an open frame device with stepper motors mounted on the sides and belts to drive the X and Y motion.
