Decatur senior Jed Ross’ storied high school athletics career ended with a trip to the second round of the 4A Division I playoffs and a special recognition by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association. Ross — a University of Central Oklahoma signee — was selected as a 4A Third Team All-State third baseman. In his final campaign, Ross finished with a .385 batting average with 30 hits, 17 RBIs and a .467 on-base percentage.
