    As cricket bats swung, tennis balls flew in every direction Sunday as local cricket league CoMo Cubs held its first youth cricket tournament on Columbia's newest cricket grounds. The grounds were made by the city's Parks and Recreation Department. Mayukh Gosh is one of the co-organizers for the cricket tournament, which started because he and other fathers wanted to share their love of the sport with the next generation. Gosh started playing the sport while growing up in India.

The celebrations began in Jesse Auditorium, as 221 graduates walked across the stage to complete their degrees with the Honors College.

The Spartans and Hickman also secured their share of notable performances, with both teams securing five of their own first-place finishes.
