A bank is threatening to repossess an Illinois town's police cruisers and other municipal vehicles because of a failure to make tens of thousands of dollars worth of payments. According to a letter from KS StateBank sent on Feb. 14, the Village of Dolton failed to make a loan payment of over $76,000 roughly nine months ago, WGN-TV reports. Because of that, the bank has threatened to repossess over a dozen village vehicles, including six Dolton police cruisers.

Authorities are searching for a missing Tennessee deputy after his cruiser was pulled from a river Meigs County Sheriff's Deputy Robert J. Leonard was reported missing Wednesday, and his cruiser was found in the Tennessee River near the Hamilton County line, the Chattanooga Times Free Press reports. The body of a woman was in the patrol's back seat, and she's believed to be someone Leonard had arrested before going missing.
