Temperatures will drop into the upper 60s and lower 70s for afternoon highs on Thursday and Friday with the coolest day of the week arriving on Saturday.

    The National Hurricane Center has found the tropical depression in the Caribbean Sea has strengthened and is now designated as Tropical Storm Sara. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for the northern coast of Honduras from Punta Sal eastward to the Honduras/Nicaragua Border, and the Bay Islands of Honduras. A Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the northeastern coast of Nicaragua from Puerto Cabezas northward to the Honduras/Nicaragua Border.

    Broad low pressure in the Caribbean has been designated potential tropical cyclone 19 by the National Huricane Center. This system hasn't developed a low-level center yet, hence the designation PTC 19. Hurricane and tropical storm watches have been issued for Nicaragua and Honduras. PTC 19 is expected to form into Tropical Storm Sarah by the weekend. A slow track into the Yucatan peninsula is likely thereafter.
