Firefighters rescue fawn stuck in Glens Falls Feeder Canal. Glens Falls firefighters helped rescue a baby deer from the water. They said a cyclist was riding along the Feeder Canal, when they saw a fawn trapped in the water. The cyclist called firefighters. Firefighter Jarrod Barton and fellow firefighters suited up. They went into the canal, and they were able to gently remove the fawn from harm.

A motorcyclist from Ballston Spa was killed in a crash on the Northway on Wednesday. State Police said Matthew Tenance, 48, was traveling south near Queensbury just after 9:30 p.m., when he left the road. Tenance had severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash is under investigation.
