Trido of Japan has closed at 5908 University Parkway, but a new restaurant called Paprikas is moving into the building. Ahmed Haloma, a native of Egypt, and April Hayes, his wife, said that Paprikas will be a pizza and Mediterranean restaurant. The quick-service fare will include such items as falafel and other Mediterranean food bowls. "We'll also have a mix of things, like smash burgers," Hayes said. The couple plans to offer takeout and drive-thru service only at the start.
