Ashburn, Va (7News) — The Washington Commanders have given up on all but one of Ron Rivera's first round draft picks. The team announced defensive end Jamin Davis, who was drafted as a linebacker, has been released. The only remaining first round draft pick from the Ron Rivera era is 2023's Emmanuel Forbes, Jr.Forbes, who was benched last year and battled injuries this year, recorded his first interception of the season in last weekend's win over the Carolina Panthers.
