Organisers of the County Wicklow event claim they were approached by a "highly-regarded operator," who offered to help. Irish festival Beyond The Pale will go ahead as planned this weekend, organisers insist. The team behind the County Wicklow event, which is due to take place from this Friday, June 13th through 15th at Glendalough Estate, posted a statement on Instagram yesterday addressing their financial situation following cancellation rumours.

A petition has been launched to oppose the eviction of the community-focused tenants. The Bath House is at risk of eviction. The team broke the news on Instagram last Wednesday, June 4th, revealing that Hackney Council plans to terminate the lease of the grassroots East London venue and remove "the very team that brought it back to life after it was disconnected from power without electricity, heating or fire compliance."A petition has since been launched to oppose the eviction.
