Afrosonica has been commissioned for the exhibition of the same name. Geneva's Ethnography Museum has commissioned a new VA compilation. Out on May 15th through FLEE, Afrosonica combines sound art with reflections on the democratisation of museum collections. It features four original compositions courtesy of KMRU, Midori Takada, Berlin sound artist Yara Mekawei and composer Mo Laudi.

Sedef Adasï, Indigo Plateaux and Mari Sakurai are among the artists booked for the collective's upcoming event. Spectrum Waves has announced its summer programme. Taking place at La Station - Gare des Mines this Friday, May 9th, the Paris promoter's next event will feature sets from Indigo Plateaux, Lea Occhi, Mari Sakurai, RÆZA, Sedef Adasï, SOTTOH and TWR72. The lineups for the collective's other forthcoming parties—including their revered Pride event in late August—are TBA.

The open-air venue now boasts a 600 metre-squared transparent industrial roof, state-of-the-art d&b audiotechnik sound system, LED screens and LED Asteras following the refurbishment.
