The North girls roster boasts a pair of locals in Buckhannon-Upshur’s Alyssa Abel and Notre Dame’s Selena Wilson, while the boys will run out Liberty’s Baustin Bowers, Fairmont Senior’s Trea Cumberledge, Lewis County’s Ben Putnam and Bridgeport’s Phoenix Sickles.

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WV News) — Stellar pitching performances from Robert C. Byrd’s Jaxson Maglowski and South Harrison’s Ava Louk have earned them Graham-Simon Plumbing/WV News Athletes of the Week honors. Maglowski no-hit Ritchie County in a 10-0, five-inning win for RCB on Monday, striking out five batters. He also had two hits and an RBI at the plate. He added three hits, two of them doubles, and three RBIs later in the week against East Fairmont.
