    The Bancroft Lions’ Club donated $1,000 to Faraday Township at their meeting on April 7. This donation was to go toward the cost of a new dishwasher for the Carl Tinney Community Centre, as the Lions use the centre for meetings and activities and wanted to give back. This $1,000 donation was in addition to an 85-inch television that they donated to the community centre for the firefighters to use for training purposes and for all users of the hall.
