    The Sologhead Heritage Group organised a small local ceremony on Sunday, January 21 to mark the 105th anniversary of the Sologheadbeg ambush. Wreaths were laid by Fergal O’Connor on behalf of the Heritage Group and Sean Allis on behalf of relatives of those involved in the ambush. Both Fergal and Sean are themselves closely related to men who were present in Sologheadbeg that day.
