Statistical analysisCharacteristics of sarcoidosis cases and controls were reported as means with standard deviations, as medians with ranges or as proportions. The odds ratios (OR) of sarcoidosis associated with each lifestyle factor were estimated using conditional logistic regression models adjusted for educational level, BMI (continuous), smoking status, snus status, alcohol consumption and physical activity.
