Last month, at Watches and Wonders 2025, I visited the Trilobe booth. It was my first time seeing the brand’s watches, and they impressed me. The Parisian company depicts time uniquely through its pieces. The latest Une Folle Journée Rhodium-plated Green is a wearable modern watch in a new colorway. I’m always skeptical when I see watches with unorthodox displays. Is it possible to improve on the ages-old two- or three-hand setup? To refresh your memory, Breitling purchased the brand in December 2023 from Stelux Holdings. It has been made clear that new models, along with authorized retailers, wouldn’t emerge until 2026. However, three “new” one-off SAS Polerouter references emerged in 2024, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the SAS transpolar flights from Copenhagen to Los Angeles.

Doxa is back again with a new release! This time, it’s a variant of the popular and affordable Sub 200. The 42mm dive watch was released in 2019 at Baselworld, and this is the first major update. While in Geneva for Watches and Wonders and the adjacent events, we visited Doxa on our first night. We were able to see all of the Sub 250T GMT models, but the brand held a second case of watches on the back table until the second half of the meeting.

Hanhart is a German brand with a deep history of making pilots’ chronographs. These pieces are known for their distinctive ridged rotating outer bezels and single red chronograph pusher. However, not all Hanhart models feature the latter detail, which brings us to today’s piece. Fans requested the distinctive pusher, and Hanhart has answered with the new 417 ES Heritage Flyback. Classic details are key when speaking about classic brands. Hanhart does this well with the 417 ES and 415 ES lines.
