This is an original study that investigates correlates of traumatic brain injury (TBI; i.e., severity, total number of TBIs, age at first TBI) and psychopathic traits (i.e., antisocial or interpersonal qualities) in justice-involved adult males who were incarcerated at the time of their participation. Our results show higher levels of psychopathic traits in individuals with TBI versus those without, which suggests a greater need to target TBI in the treatment of justice-involved populations.
