If you follow me on social media or have read my newsletters for a while, you know how I feel about generative AI. Its existence is predicated on a massive theft of intellectual property and copywritten works (including my books), it’s an enormous waste of finite natural resources, and will only lessen our creativity, our ability to think, to then articulate our thoughts, and will make the world an even dumber place. Does AI have certain areas where it can be useful to humanity? Absolutely.

My dad loves food so I love food. It’s been like that since I was little. He would leave very early for work each morning and would grab some toast as he snuck out the door. Hey Pot Heads,This year is all about being adaptable in the kitchen. I am designing meals for you that can be changed up easily. There is too much uncertainty to dream up recipes that have to be followed to the letter in order be successful. Nobody is following the rules these days so why should you have to do that in the kitchen? Let’s be serious. The recipes I’m going to roll out this summer can all be modified based on what groceries you have available to you and what you are in the mood for.

Hey Pot Heads,I know that with everything going on in the world right now it can feel dumb as hell that you still have to cook dinner, but you do. It’s an easy chore to get annoyed with because dinner is relentless, but it doesn’t have to be so rough. Your perspective just needs to change a little bit. Cooking is a great counterbalance for this moment in history. So much bullshit is headed our way from the moment we wake.
