It’s always nice to start your morning with a smile — and this week the moon and a couple of planets are teaming up to make it happen. Early risers will be able to catch a celestial “smiley face” in the eastern predawn sky Friday morning, as Venus and Saturn align themselves with a skinny crescent moon to form a slightly off-kilter cosmic emoji in the hours before sunrise. The triple conjunction will be visible near the horizon starting just before sunrise, across Canada.

Jelly Roll may soon see his criminal record wiped clean. On Tuesday, the Tennessee Board of Parole unanimously recommended a pardon for the rapper-turned-country music performer, who holds a long rap sheet from days gone by. The board’s action leaves the final decision on a pardon up to Gov. Bill Lee. Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason DeFord, has never shied away from discussing the time he spent in prison for robbery and drug charges and the work he’s done to overcome his troubled past.

Prince Louis is celebrating his seventh birthday, and a new photo of the fourth-in-line to the British throne shows that he’s likely had a few recent visits from the tooth fairy. To mark the occasion, parents Prince William and Kate Middleton shared a sweet snap of their youngest child to their social media accounts on Wednesday, showing off Louis’ wide smile, complete with two missing front teeth.

Feels like a good time to remind everyone - not all chemotherapy drugs make you lose your hair. Not everyone looks "sick" while undergoing cancer treatment. Many cancer patients can go about day-to-day life doing the normal stuff they always do.
