BAYTOWN, Texas (KHOU) - A 6-month-old girl is dead after being attacked by a dog in Texas. The 1-year-old pit bull mix was a family pet, but was new to the home. Baytown officials say the 6-month-old girl was attacked by the dog inside her family’s apartment. At least two dogs were taken from the home by animal control. HOUSTON — Police are investigating how and why a man who was shot ended up at a McDonald's drive-thru in southeast Houston early Sunday morning. Police said the man drove himself to the location after the shooting, which occurred on Nyack Drive, just two minutes away from the fast food restaurant located along the Gulf Freeway. A witness told Houston police there was an argument outside and a 23-year-old man pulled up in a car to pick up some of the people involved and drive them away.
