PLANNED OUTAGE BY ELECTRANETElectraNet has announced that an urgent outage is required on Yorke Peninsula. This outage will occur between midnight and 4am on Sunday, April 13. The outage is required to allow ElectraNet to undertake critical works on the transmission network, an ElectraNet spokesperson said. “The timing of the outage proactively minimises any inconvenience and mitigates the risk of further outages being required," they said.

SA POWER Networks has advised that power will be restored to Yorke Peninsula by this evening. ElectraNet has advised SA Power Networks that restoration will be at some point this evening (March 14). Residents will be advised via SMS, social media and the SA Power Networks website when power is restored. However, some southern YP residents have advised the YP Country Times their power came back on today around 4pm.
