    One of the things that I love about proxy statements is that even small details, say a footnote to a footnote, can provide some insight into a company. Take the 2025 proxy statement filed by Chewy Inc., for example. On pg. 41, in a footnote to the summary compensation table that provides more details on “all other compensation”, the company disclosed that it spent over $400K on two automobiles for CEO Sumit Singh.
