He is the eldest son of the civil rights icon. Wednesday, January 15, 2025, marks what would have been Dr. King’s 96th birthday. Martin Luther King III and his wife Arndrea are activists who continue to keep Dr. King’s legacy alive through their community work and their non-profit the Drum Major Institute.
