Since ChatGPT was released just over two years ago, its use everywhere from the workplace to academia has expanded significantly. In schools across the country, teachers and administrators have been grappling with how to contend with this new tool. While some say it has benefits, others point out the negatives, like cheating. This is leading to a divide in classrooms across the country with some teachers encouraging the use of AI and others voting to ban it completely.

False claims about a Plan B morning-after pill being hidden in over-the-counter pregnancy tests are resurfacing on social media. The posts allege that if you split open the contents of a pregnancy test, you will find an emergency contraceptive pill "hidden" inside. However, the claims are false. The so-called pill is actually a desiccant tablet, similar to the tablets found in vitamin bottles, that are meant to absorb moisture and sustain the shelf life of the tests.

Trump walks back contraception comments Online retailers and birth control providers have seen a spike in sales for emergency contraceptives since Donald Trump was elected for a second term as president of the United States. Winx Health, a sexual health company formerly known as Stix, reported a reported a 966% increase in sales of their morning-after pill, Restart, in the 60 hours after the election compared with the week prior.

Seine River deemed safe for Olympic events A photo of Brazilian Olympic surfer Gabriel Medina, suspended in the air over a wave, went viral earlier this week. His index finger is pointed to the sky as he's captured celebrating his recording-breaking 9.90 single-wave score in the fifth heat of the third round of men's surfing on Monday. The 2024 Paris Olympics surfing competition is taking place on the French Polynesian island of Tahiti.
