ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania reported that the Lakers received the No. 36 pick after sending pick No. 45 and cash to Minnesota.

More than 10 people were charged in connection with an investigation targeting a chop shop operation in Pennsylvania, authorities said. In a news release on Thursday, Pennsylvania Attorney General Dave Sunday said 15 people and two businesses in Lebanon County were charged after "Operation Dirty Paper," an investigation into the chop shop operation that involved vehicle title washing, fraudulent vehicle inspections and identity theft.

The S&P 500 is approaching a record high, marking a stunning turnaround from April when stocks nosedived after President Donald Trump unveiled a flurry of tariffs on so-called "Liberation Day."The S&P 500 has jumped 23% since closing at its 2025 low on April 8. KDKA-TV Afternoon Forecast (6/26) Two juveniles were shot and killed in Pitcairn on Thursday afternoon, authorities said. In a news release, the Allegheny County Police Department said officers were called to Shaw Alley near Wood Street for a report of a shooting around 3 p.m. At the scene, first responders found two victims who had been shot, Allegheny County police said. The two victims, who police believe are juvenile males, were taken to a local hospital, where they died.

Adam Sandler spotted at New Hampshire playground New Hampshire native Adam Sandler is going on a North American comedy tour this fall, and one of his stops will be in Boston. The "You're My Best Friend" tour comes to the TD Garden on Sept. 30. No performances are scheduled in New Hampshire, but he is making another stop in New England at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut on Sept. 26. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at noon, but a pre-sale is already underway.
