Out LGBTQ pro track and field athletes, led by two gay men with two wins — including one by “track’s new lover boy” — made for a banner weekend at the third event of Grand Slam Track in Philadelphia. One of the LGBTQ athletes also gave a meaningful shout-out to Pride Month. Maybe the biggest win this weekend was by Nico Young, who won the men’s 3,000 meters in his first Grand Slam Track event.
