Volleyball coach Nathan Matthews is the latest coach to be hired by the University of Alabama Crimson Tide women’s volleyball team. Now the team has two publicly out gay male coaches. Matthews previously had incredible success at NCAA Division III Wittenberg College. As the head men’s coach, he personally won two coach of the year awards, and the team won the 2024 regular-season Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League title.
