The degree of difficulty for mock drafts is high this year. I feel like Rodney Dangerfield trying to pull off the Triple Lindy dive in “Back to School.”Why is mocking this year’s NFL Draft so tough? A few reasons:1. The pecking order is ambiguous at several positions. Abdul Carter is sure to be the first edge rusher off the board, but it’s tricky to figure out how the edge guys fall after that. It’s hard to tell how the offensive linemen will fall after the first two or three.

This year’s NFL Draft rookie class looks set to shake up the running back landscape in a way we haven’t seen for years. While there is opportunity in ambiguity, sometimes the downside isn’t worth the risk. Here are three running backs to avoid if you’re currently diving into drafts.

The 2025 NFL Draft is this week. While the three-day event is the highlight of the NFL offseason, there is one thing fans love more than anything else — blockbuster draft day trades. There were nine first-round trades during the 2022 NFL Draft, despite none involving top-10 picks. While the 2023 draft didn’t have such a trade-happy first round, with six Day 1 deals, including three in the top 10, and two involving the Arizona Cardinals.
