Anti-Israel activists have been nothing if not creative in finding opportunities to spread their disinformation. Whether it is harassing politicians at public events, trespassing in shopping malls and accosting shoppers on Boxing Day, they have sought every opportunity to promote anti-Israel messages, and force them upon the unsuspecting public at large. As the year 2025 approached, it seems their tactics remain no different.

In their October 21 opinion column in The Toronto Star entitled: “We are progressive Jews who have been let down by our community leaders,” Bailey Greenspon, Jonathan Sas and Sam Hersh, three self-described “Jewish progressives,” presented themselves as the moral voice of Jews, daring to speak out in favour of peace in the Middle East. One of the authors, Hersh, shamelessly began accusing Israel of “genocide” virtually instantly after Hamas’ October 7 massacres.

Save the Children Canada purports to be a singularly-minded group focused on helping vulnerable youth, “regardless of who they are or where they live.”But in recent months, the organization has transformed itself into a regular disseminator of anti-Israel misinformation, with its president and CEO, Danny Glenwright, having made indefensible claims that Israel has deliberately murdered Palestinian children and that Israel has kidnapped scores of Gazan children and brought them into Israel.
