Palmyra graduate Lauren Wadas has closed out her collegiate field hockey career in the biggest way possible. The Northwestern University graduate student has been named a Division I First Team All-American for the second consecutive year. High School Swimming: Hershey Sweeps Palmyra

Hershey’s swimmers started their new year off right with easy wins over Palmyra High in a Jan. 2 meet at the Cougars’ pool. Its boys’ team, off to a 4-0 start this season, topped the Cougars 103-67, while the girls’ team evened their record at 2-2 with a 113-57 decision. The boys won seven events including all three relays. Luke Tinsley and Gavin Tran paced the boys with four first place finishes apiece. Tinsley won the 100-yard breaststroke and swam on all three relay teams, anchoring two of them.
